Feels like a Monday morning, with the trash on the curb after a holiday weekend. I slept poorly last night (let's call it "transition" anxiety), but I'm still up early enough to go running before teleworking. The weather is perfect for running with temps in the mid-50s. If I didn't know I'd injured my knee last week, the twinges I'm feeling this morning as I stretch and make breakfast wouldn't concern me. But I do know. So I'm leaning toward a long walk this morning, with lifting this afternoon, and postponing my return to running until Thursday. My #1 spontaneous friend B was able to come over to the house yesterday after work. I left to pick him up at 5pm, then we had dinner delivered, then we watched some TV together, then we snuggled in bed for a while. But I decided to sleep in a separate bed.
