honest car mechanics?

Are there any honest car mechanics out there?

I went somewhere yesterday and I need a 2nd opinion on a steering issue.

Able Automotive in KCK. They are only open during the week but there are honest and good. I recently had to replace my radiator, I went ahead and did a bunch more stuff too. On the way home from work the next day (a Friday) the stop cock blew out of the bottom of the radiator. Something no one I know had ever heard of happening before. I called them and they said to bring it in on Saturday, a mechanic would be waiting for me. I was not able to limp it in, so they sent a tow truck. They fixed the immediate problem, then had me bring it back to replace the radiator they just put in because they were suspicious of it.

I never once had to argue with them about it. The bill was actually less than the estimate, because the found out they could get one part cheaper as a set than as two differnt componets.

I've always found that CarRx is really good. If they can't find what's wrong, or they can't fix it there, they don't charge you. And I've never had any problems with their service. I've gone to the one on Santa Fe in Olathe, and the one on College Blvd. and 69 Hwy.
