Amtrak in Lee's Summit
Normally for long weekends I go to St. Louis to see family. However the cost of gas is so frigging high that I don't want to burn two tanks worth just for a weekend. However today I thought of an alternative, taking the train. The time is about the same and, right now anyway, it is cheaper.
My question to everyone is has anyone taken the train from the Lee's Summit station? If so what is the parking situation? I would have to leave my truck in the lot from Friday through Monday night. Which I will admit is better to do in Lee's Summit than downtown, but at Union Station the pay lot is access restricted and I don't know about the burbs.
