The Educational Values of Life

Recently, I solved what I like to call my "first case". It was a simple harassment case that could have expanded to something much worse if my lie detection hadn't gone insane on me. So I investigated and pressed the perpetrator and I got my first confession. Upon telling this to my dad, I realized that I will be good in the field of criminal justice and investigation. That is when he made my day. He said that he will get me an internship with the NJ State police in West Trenton where they offer advanced courses that will benefit me. Then he started daydreaming and pictured me as the chief investigator at a lawfirm somewhere and I started realizing how many open doors are in front of me right now. There are many paths I can take on the road of life, and now I think I've found the one that will take me to the most sucess.

The other path that has opened itself up to me is Japanese. Despite all of my watching anime and studying the characters I'm cosplaying as, I have been offered a graduation project for my senior year. It runs through the mentor program that my class was the "pilot group", or the guinnea pigs as we like to call ourselves. My senior project will be taking online Japanese courses and learning as much as I can and then presenting it somehow to a board at the end of the year. To do this, I will be getting release time each day at RFH. I am excited to have been presented this awesome opportunity that benefits me in 2 ways....shorter school days and I get to learn Japanese. I would like to drop French, I'll see how my class is and if it confuses me, hopefully my guidance counselor will understand.

Wohoo! Time for a mad picnic!
