We belong to the light, we belong to the thunder

1. Not enough sleep + too much sugar = zombie!Marie. (This is not actually news, but I seem to have forgotten about this fact over the weekend, so.)

2. I have reader's ADD right now. Books that I am currently in the process of reading: The Fifth Elephant by Terry Pratchett, Mystery and Manners by Flannery O'Connor, The Ironic Christian's Companion ( Read more... )

sam, books, store

It's possible that she knows me too well. I may have to have her killed.

::gasp:: I promise I don't know you very well at all.

Also, if you would like to read a humorous one-shot about Dean being turned into a tiny mammal, I can point you in the right direction.

For worse or for be--t--ter.... aurora_novarum November 10 2008, 17:46:41 UTC
Well thanks a lot. Now I've got *that* song in my head.

I'm reading "The Truth" by Pratchett. And some mystery by PD James. And I have got to get my hands on that Goodwin book about Lincoln's cabinet. Because I am a history geek.

Yay to figuring out book store sections. Mr. Bill should give you a color coded map with icons. Like a whisk for cooking. And a dog tag for military and a magnifying glass for mystery...

I really do need a store map. But we're putting in little hanging signs with the section names soon, I think, so that may render a map somewhat unnecessary. I hope.

My sentiments exactly.

I hope you're enjoying it. It is rather depressing.

*laughs* Yup! I'm enjoying seeing John and Dean from Jess's POV. I love how many alarming conclusions can be drawn about them when you don't have all the info.

Gosh, I remember when I was writing those sections. Jess was so freaked out and John and Dean were just terrifying, especially John.

Man, I'm feeling claustrophobic just thinking about it. Maybe I should run off and read humorous one-shots, too!

Yeah, John is...I mean, I love the man, but dude, he can be scary even when you know he's not a psycho who beats his kids.

They were playing it on the radio this weekend. Such a fun song to sing along to.

I am behind too; I haven't read "Walked Right Out of the Machinery" yet either. But what's the point of feeling guilty about it? Either I will enjoy it when I read it, or I won't, but it's better to read it when I feel in a Stargate mood than not.

Yeah, that's why I haven't read it before now: wasn't in the mood. But now I am, and I'm discovering why this thing was rec'd by everyobody and their mother when it was first posted. It's really, really good.
