Alexander Rybak won the 2009 Eurovision song contest (aka. GPdEdlC)

Admittedly, I didn't see the finals and have not heard any of the other songs. True, he can hit a note, which does tend to put you in the top 10 percent of the contestants, and the tune isn't all that bad, if entirely unmemorable. His voice is as intriguing as Jurassic Park 2 ( Read more... )

Yesterday was The Mountain Goats concert. Whee!

I met Adam there, who is apparently groupieing them across Scandinavia. Very nice to see him again.

The consert was pretty good, although somewhat short. And they just laughed when I requested The Badger Song. "Who sent you?" I was asked accusingly.

But fun.

Also: it is now Easter. Whee!!

Someone responded with "you stole my idea" to a post with youtube clips, so I suddenly got a craving for watching some LIVE videos[1]. What I found was this Bad Religion video which reminded me of what I really miss the most about being in a punk-band. Not the music, as such. Not the drugs (as they were rather scarce anyway). Windows Media Player told me that it wanted to be upgraded to version 11. Fine, whatever, I thought.
