So..
Alexander Rybak won the 2009 Eurovision song contest (aka. GPdEdlC)

Admittedly, I didn't see the finals and have not heard any of the other songs. True, he can hit a note, which does tend to put you in the top 10 percent of the contestants, and the tune isn't all that bad, if entirely unmemorable. His voice is as intriguing as Jurassic Park 2, but what can you do? What really messes the song up, though, is the lyrics. They are so meaningless and bland that it's sickening, like water so pure that your body convulses in confusion from the lack of substance, provided the water is somewhat sticky and lumpy.

A victory, I could bring myself to understand, but a landslide victory like that just leaves me aphasic.

Tomorrow I will praise something. I promise.
I hope every Norwegian had some nice hot dogs and ice cream today! Yay!constitution.
