2009/2010 Semester 2
Today was already the start of my Year 1 Sem 2. Thought it was gonna be just some introduction to the module and we would be released but it was NOT the case. The lectures kicked start right away! Got to meet with 2 of our module lecturers; one is a neat freak, the other from mainland China. Heh, my bad for classifying them that way... Anyway, both are giving us rather good impression so far.
Mainland China teacher gonna take us for this physics-related module. Looks like I'm gonna thrash it out with my nemesis once more since that bloody physics module is taking up 6 modular credits again. Also, it must have been from our previous IDEAS module that our new lecturer got to find out about our class 'creativity', hence, he introduced video-making in our upcoming project. NND =.= With this 2 modules alone, it gives me a hunch that I need to work wayyyy diligently compared to last semester Orz.
School aside, I received an email this afternoon notifying me that I had won a lucky draw in the GCA Students Day, the day I cosplayed as Shironuma Tetsuo from Sweet Pool during the GCA event. I don't really remember myself registering during the day I cosplayed, I guess it was probably from the form I penned down my details in order to gain entrance during the last day. Anyway, it mentioned that I had won a voucher for a short course/diploma student grant of the SAE Institute with a value of 1,000 SGD. I was a little skeptical about it, but the email appears to be quite authentic. For now I'll wait for the documents to be mailed to me as stated in the email to see what it's really all about =/. If it's for real, I might just enrolled myself into one of the 2-month part-time course, and perhaps to gain more insights in video-making to better prepare for my upcoming NND video project.
