That concludes my Year 1 Semester 1.
Besides the thrill deriving from checking my first ever poly (online) result slip, the result being released at an awkward timing of a good 3:00am in the morning, more importantly, I was checking it with the company of my classmates at Room 1332 of Coasta Sands Resort. A fine coincidence to have our chalet falling on the same day as the result's date of release.
I was trying to catch a few winks of sleep during then until the commotion in the room began to get too distracting despite me plugging in my earphones. I surrendered and decided to check it out. At that point of time I was still unaware that the result was sent out, as I thought that the actual time of release was 9:00am. As much as my curiosity was eating the hell out of me, I was hesitant in checking my results. I knew I wouldn't do too badly, but I was still afraid of not being able to meet my own expectation of scoring > GPA 3.5.
Whatever, I gotta face it. Checking with my classmates will probably be more of a memorable experience and thus, I logged into my mail box...
HOOOOOOOOOOOOZAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! I don't remember seeing so many A in my result slip in my entire life. I can't remember for my primary school... at least since secondary, this is the most beautiful result slip I ever received up till now.

I was not exactly satisfied initially as I scored not as well for my most important module (a bloody 6 MC) as compared to the rest, and that B wasn't a good B either (B worths 3.0, B+ worths 3.5), on second thought, it was an 'equivalent trade' (FMA fandom strikes =D) after all, considering the amount of effort I put in for it.
Ok, I should have no complaint. Especially for the mathematics module MS2104, because I had left one whole graph drawing COMPLETELY OUT during the exam but yet I got an A for it. Seeing that I had received A for both CRS and IDEAS modules, it was sure worthed it to sacrifice my sleep during then.
Moving on to the 3rd week of Semester break, I got myself pretty occupied with cosplay again. I'm glad I have this hobby to keep me entertained but my savings got drained like lao sai. Currently on working on Sweet Pool cosplay. Hahaha.. the costume definitely isn't something you would bother using a few MB of your camera memory card, but this series has its own attractive points, and of course, the *ahem*poses*ahem cough* too.
Ahhh... Just for a record and for the 4878456545513 times in my life, I was being told "你很 man leh!!!" Orz
Back to what this post is intended for... I OUGHT to be doing well base on my experience and my AGE. No room for complacency. A reminder to myself, to work harder for Semester 2, and I'm gonna look out for any other courses besides my own major. Somehow, I feel that I won't let myself get stuck with Optometry ONELY. I need to make sure I never ever fall below GPA 3.5, or perhaps even aiming for Dean's List. HAHAHAHA, yeah, I'm aiming for the moon alright.
