I have always had a great deal of respect for Colin Powell, and I really think that this is pretty epic.

So I just read an article about "Hilary Supporters defending Palin"...and the funny thing is, that while the guy gets all the right pieces of informnation into the article...he still kinda misses the point because of the partisan politics.

One of my students came back from a poli sci lecture where the professor said...

"The Constitution was created to limit the powers of the Government, not of the people"

I agree with that assessment.

So there, from here on out, is my basis for any stance regarding Constitutional Amendments for the rest of time.
