Chicago Must Wait

I've been putting this off for a few days, but this has to be posted. I didn't get the job at the Lincoln Village Borders store. I haven't gotten too depressed over it (though I did drink a lot that night), but it's still a disappointment. Basically, the reason I didn't get the job was that I wasn't the right person for it; my personality and leadership style matched what they already had, when they needed something new, probably something more authoritative. I have little experience with performance improvement--it hasn't been needed much at our store--so that hurt my chances.

Time to start the search anew...
