End of Mod-ness: !!!!!!!
Yay!!!!!!! I am oh-so done w/Algebra One!!!!!!! And w/medieval europe, too. Nice.
I picked the play that I'm going to direct for P.A.D.D.!!!!!!! Its called "Princess Sparkle Rose vs. The Flash", and it's about three little kids. Short, sweet, funny, and with some meaning, too. You should all come audition for it!!!!!!! It'll be fun fun FUN!
Ah. Sigh. It's lovely to be on break, even though I'll be at school for 12 hours total: 3 days, 4 hours at a time.
The art show was spectacular indeed. I loved all of the photos (snaps for Em, Lydia, Sofia, etc.) and the drawing 1 stuff (go Slaine go), plus there were some classes that really made you think. Assemblage was really cool, and "Images of Women" was interesting and shocking. Will we ever be able to wear high heels without feeling like we are stepping on our uteri? Crazy hippie art school;) In other news, I heard somebody made a lobster suspended in green jell-o, but I didn't see it. I can't wait to take some serious art classes at school. If I were in charge, I'd offer:
Art of the Grotesque: using a collection of dirty socks, garbage, and yucky poetry to create gross-out collages. One arts or one art history credit.
Maybe I wouldn't offer that, as the final projects would probably include old toilet seats, condoms, and lint from in between the foyer couches. EW.--Izzy;)
