Lucy the naked neck jumped willingly into my hand and chirped to me as I held her. Mina (naked neck) wasn't as willing but was quiet. Cindy (NHR who is very white for a NHR) didn't panick as much and has been getting closer and closer while I'm standing in the brooder. Ebony is still very unsure so I will be holding her more. Deliah and Diana (Delawares) are less unsure everytime while Cinnamon stares back quiet but very alert. Sara (formerly Stripey the Easter Egger) is very unsure but in time will warm up. She at least lets me pick her up with will less wing flapping.
Cinderella had to be culled as she was too sick to even grow. Another two weeks they will be too big for that brooder and will need more outside time. I am working this weekend on getting posts into the ground and wrapping the hardwire around the posts. Still too cold to plant but I think I can put the radishes, nastursium and marigolds in some areas.
