I was wondering today, exactly how many people in this world are left-handed? I didn't think there were very many, but apparently I'm a left-handed-person magnet. My boyfriend is left-handed, my best friend is left-handed, and I have at least three other friends in my group that are as well, maybe four. What is up with this? Is anybody who happens to be reading this left-handed?
I don't know, it's a random thing to think about, not to mention post in my journal. But still, I was wondering about these mysteries. I looked it up and this is what I came up with:
"Recently, small studies (usually among children) have come up with figures of between 12% and 15% of the population and it has been argued that perhaps this increase is due to social acceptability of left-handedness which has never before been the case."
Huh. Looks like most of the people that make up that percentage go to my school.
random,
left handed people
