Left Handed People

I was wondering today, exactly how many people in this world are left-handed? I didn't think there were very many, but apparently I'm a left-handed-person magnet. My boyfriend is left-handed, my best friend is left-handed, and I have at least three other friends in my group that are as well, maybe four. What is up with this? Is anybody who happens

^Ooh, yeah, that's interesting. Isn't it such a weird thing in the first place that humans usually have the right hand as their dominant one? You would think there would be more of a balance.
