I superfail at updating. It's too warm here (shhhh, Australians!) to do anything but laze about; I'm writing fic, and that's about it. I'm off to see smaych in Edinburgh this weekend, and I've got a couple of flights and a long train ride for which I need book recs. I'd quite like to read more Charles Stross; I loved Saturn's Children - are his other books similar?

I've been re-reading the Sherlock Holmes novels on gutenberg.org at work. I do adore them; I'm only sorry I started reading them so late in life. I was always worried that the language would be inaccessible. I finished and reviewed Wintersmith. Other than that, I've got nothing. This was not a good day, though conversations with lovely people did help. You know who you are. :)

I had an audition for a Saturday Night Fever concert yesterday. It's just a small local production, but as a singer, I obviously want to do well whenever I'm asked to preform.

I sucked ass.
