I voted--two weeks ago. Today is still exciting. We're switching back and forth from recorded TV to election results. We let the kids vote at school today and Obama won by a landslide. Hopefully that's predictive.

Will got his splint off today! We went to the doctor, rushed across the street for x-rays, dashed home for the medicaid card that turned out to be in my purse all along, then came back to the doctor's. He said the fracture is healing just fine; we have another appt in a month just to be sure it's still healing, but basically Will can do anything ( Read more... )

Oh, for crying out loud. We are now behind South Africa in the area of civil rights. South Africa approves same-sex unions

ETA: I should add that I'm really happy for South Africa.

NaNo is going, although the odds of me reaching 50,000 are rather huge at this point. Now, if I could write roughly 6,500 today and tomorrow both, I'd be back on track. HaHaHaHaHaHaHA!
