Okay, so I wrote a MYTG pinch-hit, right? But I wasn't actually signed up, so I never expected to get anything in return. But some fabulous person wrote When You're Up To Your Ass In Alligators, which is absolutely delightful! It's got a post-apocalyptic-ish setting, Chris and JC and cameos by other people, and rats! Of unusual size, no less! I've mentioned that I love post-apocalyptic settings, right? Like, I'm one of five people in the universe who liked Waterworld? And I'm pretty sure my feelings on things like Chris and JC, the whole band clearly loving each other, and snark are pretty clear. Well, this story has it all. Seriously, go read!
On other news, Christmas was very nice this year. Will and I baked cookies and made fudge last night, and wrapped presents (I had my usual ritual of watching A Christmas Story while wrapping). I let Will open most of his gifts before we went to Mom's, then we went. Nice meal, nice company, nice gifts. What more could you want?
