You know what I miss about my Palm-running PDA? The calendar. You could set something to repeat every other day, which I have not found on any calendar for my Windows Mobile-running Moto. See, at school we run on block schedule, meaning that we see each class every other day. One week, it'll be MWF; the next, TTh. The only fast way I know of to schedule this is to be able to repeat something every other day--which, granted, gives you weekends, too, but you can ignore that or fix it if you're ever sitting somewhere and you're really bored. Reason I need to know this? Because I'm off the last period on one day, so I can schedule appointments for me (or Will, if I'm desperate--I don't really want him to miss his last class if I can avoid it) either before or right at 3:00. If I schedule them the wrong day, I'm teaching a class right at the time my appointment is scheduled. Not good.
One more week of school before Christmas Break. Testing most days next week, finishing up writing and watching a movie other days. Shouldn't be too tough as long as the kids aren't turds (this is a technical teaching term). I am seriously ready for a break. I currently have a head cold/bad allergy going on, along with almost-lost-voice, and that does not make my job any more fun.
I bought a permanent account in the recent/ongoing sale. It gave me tons of icon space. Has anyone noticed that I use one icon? Pretty much exclusively? I wish I could give my extra space to someone else. There are people out there who would actually use it.
