So much world building. So many call backs to the first one that had actual merit and purpose, advancing both the plot and the theme, as opposed to being just "oh aren't we clever" nostalgia. Fills in several gaps from the original in ways that make sense, but also, the story telling leaves the doors open to its own mysteries ...
I want to watch it several more times, because I know it will reward close viewing.
