Better to try than do nothing at all

There's a little feral short hair cat (born earlier this year on campus) that hangs out around the COE building and lately has been hanging out behind the TDRL's back window. We're all worried about it, given that it's so small and cold weather is coming. Today, using two paperboxes, packing paper, two plastic bags, and a generous amount of booktape, I built a little house for it that is waterproof and well insulated.

Now, all we have to do is entice the little dood(ette?) to try it out. I hid it behind a wall, and pushed it as far away from our door as possible.
