One of my aunt/uncle combinations joined Facebook as one person, which is fine for people who have long-since lost their personal identities, but when young, independent people get married and lose their former selves, it pisses me off when they have combined accounts.  My cousin is a really good example of this.  She has an account on FB under her ( Read more... )

I am counting down the hours (almost) until I am away from my life for five days.  Seriously, things just keep getting better (she said sarcastically).

He canceled on me for lunch today at the last minute for no good reason.  Annoyed.

I received an email via flickr this afternoon from TIME Magazine.  They might use one of my photos in the next issue!  As of right now, it's a "go," it just needs to pass the technical editorial requirements.  Eeek!

I've been back in my apartment for approx 75 minutes and already the post-vacation blues have set in.  Ugh!

Because things tend to happen (or not happen) after I post on LJ, I'm wondering if people I don't know about have access to my pages.  Or maybe it's my paranoia.  :)  

And now I haven't heard from Guys B or C in the last week.  But Guy A was in earlier this week.  Sigh - just when I start to feel okay with some things, it gets weird, just like always.  Oh, well.  Carrying about with my life as normal.

I saw a mug at Borders before Christmas that I wanted, but didn't buy it.  Now I've been to almost every Borders in the Chicagoland area to see if anyone still has it.  State Street, check.  Michigan Avenue, check.  North Avenue, check.  Clark Street, check.  And now Evanston, check.  None.  Oh, well.  But this mug-quest led me to Northwestern ( Read more... )
