Sometimes people suck
One of my aunt/uncle combinations joined Facebook as one person, which is fine for people who have long-since lost their personal identities, but when young, independent people get married and lose their former selves, it pisses me off when they have combined accounts. My cousin is a really good example of this. She has an account on FB under her husband's name. This cousin posted on my uncle's page something about giving my mom a hard time about not having a FB page, to which I replied, "You can't give my mom a hard time about not being on here until you have your own account." Well, that set off a firestorm of response from my family about how partnerships are good and how sharing is nice, but I wouldn't understand. Fuck that. I'm pissed off.
