Last night, I very nearly missed seeing Potted Potter because downtown San Francisco is a madhouse at this time of year. I should have anticipated that on a Saturday night, two weeks before Christmas, parking would be difficult to find, but it seemed like every parking garage was full! Sean and I recently watched Robin Hood: Men in Tights together.  I'd seen the movie several times over the years; my brother owned a VHS of it so it was always around in high school.  Sean, though, had somehow never managed to see it, despite being a Mel Brooks fan.

San Jose Rep is currently performing As You Like It, and since this seems to be the Year of Shakespeare for me Seanie and I decided to get tickets. (It helps that the Rep had a buy one, get one free promotion running.) It's been a year or two since I last saw a show by the Rep, but they usually have good entertainment.
