Apparently dogs have anal glands that have sacs which need to be emptied every so often. These glands are used by animals to excrete liquid marking their territories, or to distract predators/enemies while they are fleeing (just like in the case of skunks). Max and Thor are now maturing. They already started humping stuffed toys, pillows, and our arms/legs already. Unfortunately, we don't have female dogs here at home.
