heading up to Boston for a gaming con. Running Inspectres twice, playing 4e with someone I've always wanted to have GM for me, and savage worlds game with a very good GM and some awesome players. For my 'being Allowed into Massachussetts' tax I've made 6 quarts of gourmet mac and cheese, 6 chicken rolls and 2 pepperoni rolls. i went with an olive oil wash instead of my usual egg wash, which gave the rolls much more of an actual pizza dough crust. Will it be as good as the egg wash? Dunno. Last year I didn't get any as hungry gamers attacked the food like vultures finding fresh roadkill. In any case, it lines up to be an exemplary weekend.
helping possible DM Duane get the crew together for the proposed Pathfinder game. The other two he wants play sporadically at the store but are scheduled for next Sunday. He can't make it, but I could stop in on my way to a wedding - in my tux. I'm going to get a lot of abuse for this at the store, but I'd like this game to happen so I'll give it a shot. I'm leaning toward playing a monk or monk/thief, I need to see how Pathfinder works and what classes are available before I decide. Chris is going to play a druid, and we need to come up with something for Laura. Hopefully we'll be able to host as well, which would mean no babysitter and no ride home after gaming. I approve of this plan.
Duchess, see you at around 8pm for some tasty, tasty burgers.
