It's all about the gaming (not really)
Inspectres is ready for Peg Con, if I'm running once. If I have to run twice OMGWTFBBQ I'll have to do so much extra work! I'll have to put ALL SEVEN CHARACTER PAGES in a copier. My god, the horror . . . the horror. I am actually kind of happy we were eliminated in rugby so I can go to this. Not excited or proud, but I know I'll have a great time.
And on June 17th I'm going to run my first LFR mod. I had hoped to do it the week before but the schedule didn't offer me a chance. I'm running a mod I don't know, which isn't optimal, but I'll try to go early the week before and read through it. I already have one good GM guy signed up to play, the one who ran when viking_cat was down, and Laura has expressed interest in playing as well. I'm going to make her up a character, probably something like a ranged ranger or a sorcerer. I'm touched and excited she wants to play. If my other two usual co-players sign up it'll be a great group for her to play with and me to run for. I'm excited.
The weekend was pretty good, the kids had a blast at the beach. Becky is absolutely fearless in the water, cruising around in the bay up to her neck. She is definitely Laura's daughter when it comes to love of the water. We hit horrific traffic on the way back Sunday night, which was weird, but it let Monday be the work day it needed to be. Oh, and there were bacon-wrapped cheddar stuffed deep fried butcher-bought hot dogs last night. So very bad for me, but so insanely delicious. Ye gods.
