ENGLAND WON A PENALTY SHOOTOUT
Yes, you read that correctly.
For the first time ever England actually won a penalty shootout at a World Cup. I still can't believe it actually happened. Once Colombia got that equaliser I thought that was it, and England were out but this team delivered in a way no-one expected.
Last night was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster and I felt quite drained this morning but now I think I'm just about ready to do it all over again on Saturday. Hopefully it won't be quite as stressful.
Incidentally, I've always quite liked Colombia and thought they were a nice team but they were horrible last night. The referee should have booked some players earlier to get some control on the game.
