So, haven't posted in a while.
I haven't really been up to much - on Wednesday it was my birthday so, as I wanted to try and start a new movie related birthday tradition, I watched "Sixteen Candles" (which is the only birthday movie I could think of). I hadn't seen it a while and it's definitely not as good as I'd remembered and is not John Hughes' best at all. In fact I found quite a lot of the characters quite unlikable (even Jake who everyone is supposed to like).
Then on Thursday I watched "Thunderbirds" (the 2004 movie). I hadn't seen it in a long time and I still kinda liked it. I know it got a lot of shit when it came out and I don't think it actually made any money but I think it's enjoyable enough. The storyline is okay and the ships still look cool. For some reason I thought Alan and Tin Tin got together at the end of the movie but I guess I remembered that wrong.
Last night I watched the season 3 finale of "Graceland" which I thought was okay. This season just hasn't worked for me though and I don't really know why. It hasn't held my attention at all (apart from a couple of notable episodes) and because of that half the time I didn't really know what was going on. Is there gonna be a season 4? If there is I'm gonna have to serious consider whether I want to come back for it which is a real shame. I don't give up on shows easily but this season just hasn't excited me at all. I don't think it was necessarily bad, it just been a bit meh.
In other TV news, I've made a list of new shows (for the US fall season) that are coming up that look quite interesting. I'm hoping for some great exciting new shows.
