I got paid today and I also got a performance based pay raise - it's not a massive amount, of course, but it's nice to be appreciated.
In other news: I watched the season premiere of new Kevin Williamson show "Stalker" last night - I thought it was a pretty decent start and it seemed quite good. It reminded me a lot of "Criminal Minds" which is a good thing I guess because I like that show. I really liked that they showed that men can be victims of stalkers too and I hope they explore that more as the show goes on. Maggie Q is quite good in it (and I noticed the tattoos are thought were a character thing from "Nikita" were also there in this show so they must be hers) but I'm not sure how I feel about Dylan McDermott's character yet but I think that's probably the point, I think he needs to settle a bit and I'm sure we'll find out more about him as the show goes on. While it's doesn't seem like something especially original at the moment I think it could be a pretty decent pocedural.
I also watched the latest episode of "Person of Interest" - 4x02 - I thought this episode was slightly better, and more coherent, than the first episode of this season. I'm interested in seeing where things might lead from here. And I'm glad they've got their new base now and are back working as a team.
Then I watched the first episode of "Forever" - I thought it was quite a good start to this show but I think it's got "cancelled" written all over it. I find Ioan Gruffudd immensly watchable and the premise is interesting enough with the mystery of the phone calls to hold my interest. We'll see how it goes.
I also watched "Franklin & Bash" (3x06) and "Perfection" (3x04) - both of which are always good show but I can never think of anything to say about either of them.
