So the final 8 teams in the World Cup have been decided:
Brazil, Colombia, Netherlands, Costa Rica, Belgium, Argentina, Germany and France.
With the exception of Costa Rica I don't think there are any real surprises there. I think after early surprises in the tournament we might end up with a fairly predictable final. I'll be watching all of it though. Loving this tournament!
These knock out games have all been amazing (Argentina's game today was probably the weakest. I'm not very impressed by them to be honest. I hope Belgium beat them) with some great goals and some intense extra times and penalty shoot outs (I think my heart was in my mouth during that Costa Rica shoot out)! I can't wait for more.
You may have noticed that my team, USA, aren't on that list. They lost against Belgium. It's a shame but I'm not too disappointed because I kinda saw it coming so I'd prepared myself. They did so well to get out of their group though so anything else was always gonna be a bonus. I think they played really well in all of their games and I've grown to really like them as a team - and as individual players - and I'm gonna miss them as the tournament continues. Their spirit and determination has won me over and I'll definitely be supporting them in future tournaments if that continues. I may even be interested in watching some "soccer" games in the future - and maybe even the Copa America - if they air over here.
Goodbye USA, it's been an honour supporting you.

I thought this episode was epic -with so much craziness! And I was surprised to see the Russians and Chinese involved in storyines now! Now the Margot storyline is over things have got more ridiculous, but in a good way! I wonder what can happen now?
I thought the Navarro storyline was handled pretty well - I liked that he got caught early on (but not before he handed the device over to Adrian) and I thought the scene when Kate found out that Navarro was to blame for what happened to her husband was really well done. I've really warmed to Kate and I felt so sorry for her when she realised what he had been responsible for (and especially the fact that she didn't believe her husband when he said he was innocent was heartbreaking). I loved the scene when her and Jack worked together to get the information from Navarro without having to give him that deal he wanted.
I also liked the Chloe stuff this week - she knew that what Adrian was doing wasn't right and tried to get away with the device. Shame he figured out what she was doing before she could do it. He was a real piece of work, wasn't he? Using the death of Chloe's family to make her stay with him. I'm getting increasingly worried about Chloe now though. I'm just so scared that she's not gonna make it out of this day. And I hope her and Jack manage to find their way back to each other before the season is over. They're such a great team and I'd hate to see that come to an end.
And what is Mark doing? Obviously he feels threatened by Jack - in regards to his marriage to Audrey - but this really isn't gonna end well, and when Heller figures out what he did he is not gonna be happy at all.
With only two episodes left now I'm wondering exactly what could happen next! And I've also just realised that it's gonna be over for ever (probably) again soon. It hadn't even occurred to me that I would have to mourn this show all over again.
Teen Wolf 4x02
I thought this episode was slighly better than last weeks season opener but I still don't really know what's going on (as is becoming standard for this show!).
I thought the Kate stuff was pretty interesting and I liked the reasoning behind why she'd deaged Derek (how exactly did she manage to do that again?) and the scenes with young!Derek and the rest of the gang were really cool. The actor playing young!Derek did a pretty good job, I think. While he doesn't necessarily look like Tyler Hoechlin he definitely had the mannerisms down.
Loved the scenes between Scott, Stiles and young!Derek. I especially enjoyed the cousin Miguel throwback. That was pretty funny. And I liked it at the end when young!Derek knew that he had to go and save Scott, even if he didn't really know who he was. It was cool to get our Derek back though (oh, and I loved Stiles' line about everyone being happy, apart from Derek, who's never happy. That was cute).
Great scenes with Sheriff Stilinski too - I just love how exasperated he is by the whole situation and him asking if they were time travellers was brilliant (loved Stiles' reaction) especially as the actual explanation of what had happened to Derek was equally as ridiculous sounding. I also loved his exhanged with Stiles concerning Stiles' lie that they were camping. As Stiles said, they were camping. In Mexico. I love the father and son scenes between these two. Whether they're deep, sad ones or just these fun ones. They always ring true. The family relationships on this show have always been good.
Interesting moment of Stiles seeing those bills (I think?) on the Sheriff's desk. I wonder if that will lead somewhere?
Oh, and I'm liking Malia so far. She's had some great lines and I quite like her slowly learning what things are acceptable and what aren't. I don't love her relationship with Stiles but I'm not against it and I'm interested in where it might lead for both characters.
