My thoughts about the sports movies so far:

  Remember the Titans (american football) - Not bad! Good story, decently told. Turned out to be one of the better sports movies so far.

Saw Pan's Labyrinth on Friday.

It's amazing and bloody. With proper fairies and fauns and nightmare monsters. And fascists and partisans. Highly recommended.

If I don't ever see another "but perhaps this was all just a dream" ending, I'll be thrilled. And I mean, ever. Just gird up and make a movie about the fantastic, people, without cringeing
