I just finished watching " motorcycle diaries" that i rented from netflix (of course). It took me a good week or so to get around to watching it. My mom had rented it once already while i was away and my sister heather didn't like it too much. She actually said it was stupid. Well, I got around to watching half of it last night and then i got tired ( Read more... )

That would be amazing, I agree. I think the thing I'd like about it the most is nobody would be able to find me! I'd just stay on the road for months and live out of cheap hotels and roadside diners, or, as the case may be, in a sleeping bag and eating trail mix, and nobody would have a clue where I was or what I was doing. I'd see the world and come back and not say a word about it--it would be my little secret, and people would be perplexed at why I suddenly would be so much happier.

Then again, I'm a little odd. :)

Where would you go first?

New Mexico. It's cleaner than regular Mexico.

That's something I've been wanting to do for years. I want to buy a dirt bike and ride through the Desert with nothing but a guitar and a sleeping bag, and about six gallons of drinking water.

i wouldn't know where to start, honestly. I would want to do it through almost every continent...here, europe, and asia the most though. The language barrier would be a hurdle but just get a few phrase books and i could be on my way. What about you ky? Where would you go?

I'm not sure where I'd want to go first, either. I'm pretty certain, though, that I'd want to conclude the European leg of such a trip with Florence or Prague.

As far as the language barrier goes, you and I combined would have at least Spanish, Italian, and German covered. :) Once we get too far east, though, we'd have to keep those phrase books handy.

How about south-east Asia? Thailand, or India or Malaysia--- somewhere tropical and coastal, and with good food.
