Wow, I really enjoy your write-ups. There's nothing like sharp wit and eloquence when it comes to AI. I didn't see the entirety of the show on Wednesday, had to watch Lost. My husband is a fanatic. I luckily missed Barry. Not that he is a terrible singer, but he's not my favorite by any means and the guy is really freaky looking. Gives me the willies.
As for the eliminations, I was a bundle of nerves when I saw where Taylor was sitting, but I think they know how much analysis fans have for every little thing and did that on purpose. I had a feeling it was the three in the middle, but I was still a little freaked. Kellie needs to be pickled and your Nick Lachey comment was Vlassic-classic. She is ripe for him of course if it isn't all an act. I heard somewhere they told her to do that so she'd get votes. I'm sorry, but brainless blondness does not get votes from me. I put up with too many girls like that in my life to care much about their happiness

Ah, Kellie. I was so over Kellie from day one. To sum it up; she gives southern girls a bad name. It is sort of like how Gloria Steinham and the whole women's lib movement screwed life up for females in general. We had it made, then the male population rebeled, your lucky now if you don't get a door let go on you, much less get one opened for you, unless you live in the south. Same with Kelly, southern women pretty much knew how much 'blonde' men thought was cute and how much was stepping over the line. Kellie does the Kellie stomp way over that line, bringing to light on national televison the whiles of southern women in away that could cause a serious backlash

Some of Marc's songs are ballad-type songs. His cd is called Carencro...I think that's how you spell it. Look him up and I think you'll see what I mean. He did a song they used on a commercial for NBC's Medium called "Home." As for "Drops of Jupiter," I'm not sure. Train is okay, but they don't have Taylor's sound. It would TOTALLY rock if he was allowed to use his own stuff, but you know those silly contracts...
I will definately try harder to vote next time. I don't want him to go home now. If we could push him up to win over Chris, that would be awesome. Soooo...is this tour coming near Louisville? I would love to go! Maybe we should invite him to take part in some of our Kentucky hospitality. I'll make the pie. :)
I listened to 30 second clips from Marc Broussard's CD you recommended. Really LIKE IT A LOT! Thanks for the nudge. My favorite tracks were Home and The Beauty of Who You Are - but there were lots of silent tracks. I assume on the CD they are actually tunes. I can totally hear Taylor singing this music. good choice.
Re: AI tour. I did not live in KY during any of the previous season's of AI. In Florida the tour appeared in Ft. Lauderdale in the huge Office Depot Concert Hall. They were always sold out immediately. I checked with a friend here, she couldn't remember where/if they came to KY.
I'll cook the barbecue! I hear he eats healthy, but seems to love Bar-B-Q.
My friend also reminded me that Kellie and Bucky should do well with this genre too because of the constantly new country sounds that are released.
I am soo ready for Tuesday and its a looog way off!
P.S. I meant to applaud you earlier on your Vlassic Classic reference. Priceless.
