Wow, I really enjoy your write-ups. There's nothing like sharp wit and eloquence when it comes to AI. I didn't see the entirety of the show on Wednesday, had to watch Lost. My husband is a fanatic. I luckily missed Barry. Not that he is a terrible singer, but he's not my favorite by any means and the guy is really freaky looking. Gives me the willies.

As for the eliminations, I was a bundle of nerves when I saw where Taylor was sitting, but I think they know how much analysis fans have for every little thing and did that on purpose. I had a feeling it was the three in the middle, but I was still a little freaked. Kellie needs to be pickled and your Nick Lachey comment was Vlassic-classic. She is ripe for him of course if it isn't all an act. I heard somewhere they told her to do that so she'd get votes. I'm sorry, but brainless blondness does not get votes from me. I put up with too many girls like that in my life to care much about their happiness.

Now, I didn't get a sense of relief from Taylor that he hasn't shown before. I think he was worried to be honest. This badgering he takes from everyone on his dancing and non-conformist demeanor could be wearing him thin. I think Simon hurt him this time. I could hurt Simon for that. The last thing Taylor needs is to feel less confident. If I could hug him, I would, poor baby.

On to the theme, yes, Chris just breathed a hearty un-original sigh of relief. You are correct in your statement that a lot of songs in that theme are rock songs. Personally, I like some of them, but he's really getting on my last nerve. He's riding the band wagon of angry, posing, young Americans straight to a win if you ask me. Lets all dress in black, wear some chains, hang out in Hot Topic and be full of angst. Oh, and then we can all act like teeny-boppers and vote for Chris! Then we can go to all the AI boards and blogs and badger everyone else, especially those "retarded" people in the Soul Patrol. Puuhlease! Bring it, that's all I'm saying.

Taylor will find something utterly spellbinding this week, I feel it. I would love to hear him do something slower and more romantic, the ladies would eat that up. Last week was the first time I tried to vote in the show's history. If he did a song like that, I would probably stay up and try until the last second. He has me on a string. By the by, have you ever heard any Marc Broussard? He's recent and Taylor would rock out with that.
