Yay, some rough Japanese lyrics (LOL forever at "punk & deli" for "punkadelic" XDDD) and very rough English translations~! [ETA] Another rough translation here, care of bluecodI was hoping that the music would match with the lyrics and that there would be at least hints of meta and mwahahaha there is! This exactly! I tend to listen to songs obsessively and while I was driving in the car, I was discussing this line with my sister and we came to a similar thought and that not only this line, but the whole song (as you brilliantly pointed out in the FFA post) is so aware of how the media and industry and fans simultaneously build up/create and tear down their idols.

So many things about these lyrics that I want to look into! The chorus "Life is a party, from garage to suite room" is so anthem-like, but that phrase "garage to suite room" is so fascinating to me because it can be seen as 1. Parties can be held in any place, from a garage to a suite room 2. Charting a musician's career, starting from performing in garages to being so big they can afford a suite room. I feel like the song is working consciously on a double layer, the surface layer being a "life is a party, nothing else matters" layer (i.e. Chorus A), but right underneath is this sneaky, almost bitingly arrogant and aware layer, "it's all about me and it's destroyed me but I can't do anything more but continue" (i.e. Chorus B) -

- basically, I really want the lyrics XD
