This exactly! I tend to listen to songs obsessively and while I was driving in the car, I was discussing this line with my sister and we came to a similar thought and that not only this line, but the whole song (as you brilliantly pointed out in the FFA post) is so aware of how the media and industry and fans simultaneously build up/create and tear down their idols
