I heard a rumour about an actor, but I won't mention it here because I cannot find any official announcement yet.

I was to write how I was wrong to think that having a month without going to work will give me some time to do fun things, like translating some Fuuma no Kojiro things.

Then, I just saw this week's Fuuma no Kojiro (Episode 8).

A friend of mine was shocked with news of Fuuma no Kojiro live action drama, because she loved the manga and used to write Asuka Musashi/Mibu Kousuke fanfics.  I managed to persuade her to watch episode one, and  she actually liked it.  She seems to like drama Mibu.  (Kou-chan is the way she calls him.)  Not only that, she now seems to take ( Read more... )

Just like when Daniel Craig was casted as James Bond, when NHK announced Gackt will play 上杉謙信(Uesugi Kenshin 1530-1578) in year 2007's Taiga Drama 風林火山(Fuurin Kazan) a hell of debates broke out over if Gackt is suitable for playing a war load in NHK Taiga Drama.
