I was to write how I was wrong to think that having a month without going to work will give me some time to do fun things, like translating some Fuuma no Kojiro things.
Then, I just saw this week's Fuuma no Kojiro (Episode 8).
OMFG!!!!!!!!
As a reader of the original manga, I didn't expect this to happen!!
It was perfectly comical and heart warming episode in which Ryuuhou of Fuuma and Kurojishi of Yasha ends up respecting each other. Can you believe a Fuuma and a Yasha fighting a fair and square Judo match?
UNTIL Yasha-hime decleared that she is giving the treasured sword of Yasha clan to Asuka. Mibu protested fiercely that Asuka, who is not a member of Yasha, does not deserve the sword. Yasha-hime coldly turned down the protest and even scorns her own little brother, calling him a loser. That drove Mibu crazy with envy. Kagerou, who has been trying to split up Asuka and Mibu and drove Asuka out of Yasha, seized the chance and told Mibu that all Mibu needs is a strong and good sword.
The Judo match ends with Ryuuhou's victory. Kurojishi, accepting his defeat, told Ryuuhou to kill him. Ryuuhou refused, since this is just a Judo match. As Ryuuhou left Kurojishi in the Dojo, both men promised to each other that next time they meet, they will fight untill one of them die.
After Ryuuhou left, Kurojishi too, tried to leave the dojo. Only he cannot. Someone knocked Kurojishi down with a wooden sword. It was Mibu. Mibu disdainfully decleared to Kurojishi that Yasha has no needs for a loser and cold bloodly excuted Kurojishi. Right before his death, Kurojishi recognize the wooden sword of Mibu.
In the Manga, Kurojishi was not that amicable nice guy and he was killed off by Kojiro in just a few pages. Mibu, as I had written somewhere before, was killed off in the first few episode of manga.
We kinda guessed that drama Mibu will have a match against Reira, who seems to very close to Kojiro, and will kill him, so Kojiro will have a good motive to have a re-match with Mibu. How this will happen? Our guess is that Asuka and Mibu will be ordered by Yasha-hime to storm Fuuma's HQ in order to capture Fuurinnkazan (Wind, Woods, Fire and Mountain), the sword Byakko discovered on the episode 4. Since Kabuto-maru and Reira got killed by Asuka in a few pages, we kinda assumed that the drama writer would throw in Mibu to make it two on two match.
WE WERE WRONG. MIBU HAD FELL INTO THE DARK SIDE. The drama kept who kills who the same until this episode. Now not only the drama writer decide to change who kills who, but what they did was so out of expectation, we can no longer guess how the character of Mibu will develope. I have a feeling that they are adding some factors from season two of manga.
Right now, my friends and I are serieously discussing how we are going to survive to the next week without dying from anxiety.
