Putting Order to Chaos

Nov 08, 2004 22:07

Well this weekend I managed to put order to the chaos that is my life. I still can't find money for rent, and am just barely scraping by, but on the plus side I now have a plan. I spent all day yesterday just cleaning the house, and finally the living room is presentable, the kitchen is clean, and I have clean clothes!

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I want to speed through community college as fast as possible and make my way into San Francisco State. Child Development seems to be the major that most appeals to me, and I see myself becoming a Family Youth Therapist.

It looks as though I'm going to have a few more years of suck, but in the end it will all pay off.

After this I'm going to actually sit down and write an email to my Squad Leader seeing if it is at all possible to find someone in my area that would be willing to give me a ride to drill, because gosh darn it I need the cash. Truth be told I really do want to make good on my commitment to the US Army. We have a MUTA 8 in a few weeks which I feel good about, I see it as a way to actually get to know my fellow squad memebers and learn my job, fit in maybe.

On a different note I'm more actively dating or at least trying to which I also feel good about. My life seems to be on the upswing, and I'm excited about that.

I talked to my friend Robin online briefly. It felt good. I really should call Sherry. Alright now I'm starting to trail off into nonsensicalness so I think that's enough for now.
