I am sitting in the PPRL Research Lab at LSU waiting for my training to begin. I am going to be annoying people trying to do surveys while they relax at home, and sometimes in residences where they have unlisted numbers or their number is on the DO NOT CALL list. Yay.
All the while, Stuart is at home with a plumber because our downstairs toilet has been overflowing onto the floor for the past couple of hours, nearly flooding our downstairs. We used all the towels we own to sop up the dirty, stinky toilet water. It smelled like rotten butt. Seriously. Stuart just text messaged me and said it was fixed, but we had to call an emergency call-in to a plumber to come and fix it. Luckily, it's not my problem to pay for because it involves the house, so we won't have a problem getting it fixed due to money issues, because it's going to be almost $200 to fix. It's just gross and annoying to deal with.
Stuart said the plumber removed the toilet and used a rooter. Yummy.
I don't get off til 5, but I am allowed to surf the internet here, as long as I am getting my work done. We are also allowed to bring our homework to work, as long as we're still dialing out and not getting answers. Sweet. But there's this one girl who SCREAMS into the phone and is very abrupt with the surveyers, saying, "What?" and "Huh?". Yeah, real professional...lol.
I was pissed last night because of the game. So pissed. I was drinking, but I couldn't even get a buzz because I was so angry. I never thought I would get like that over football.
While the whole fiasco was happening today, I was trying to cook lunch. I was distracted and delayed by helping Stuart take care of the situation, so I couldn't get it cooked by the time I had to leave to go to work. Hence, I didn't eat before I left the house. This shift should be interesting. I'm going to be hungry as a beast when I get home.
I sent an incomplete application to the National Opera Association this weekend. I just found out about it Tuesday, and it had to be received by this Wednesday. Well, I went to pick up my headshot yesterday, and they wouldn't realease it to me because it "looked professional". SUCH. CRAP. Oh, well...if they want my headshot that bad, they'll call or send me a letter or something for me to send it to them. I was just pissed, because I don't like to send anything off that's not complete or not my best work. It's time for a new headshot anyway, so maybe this time I can get the stupid release form they need for me to make copies. Although, I've never had that problem before, so maybe I just won't go to that Walgreen's anymore.
Enough bitching, gotta go here in a sec, so I'll wrap it up.
Peace out homies.
