Meme! Helena, Andrew, and Fleur
Hi, everyone!
So I've been tagged for that character meme again. Helena should be simple, but Andrew and Fleur? I'm going to be doing like a ~time warp~ or some shit, because Fleur has not been in anything since like Chapter 18/19 (maybe), and Andrew has not been in anything since like Harry and Bella's fail!wedding. Whatevs, this is fun anyway.
Helena Lee Granger
1. She was planned to be heiress for about a trillion years. Since her all of my heirs have been planned in advance. I always schemed for Inigo to win, and I already have someone picked in Generation J. Plot > Heir Poll
2. Helena is not shy at all. She has nearly full outgoing points. I know she did it just to spite me. I just know it.
3. I never thought her LTW, to top the Journalism career, suited Helena, but I can't think of anything that would have suited her better.
4. Helena's beverage of choice is coffee. I do not yet have a grasp on alcohol varieties to assign her an alcoholic drink, so you'll all just have to deal.
5. If I were to pick a favorite movie for Helena, I'd say "The Corpse Bride" or something sufficiently spooky.
6. Helena's a bit of a hopeless romantic, but not excessively.
7. She relies on the relationships she has with others, such as her family and Seb, and she hates the thought of being alone.
8. Helena became very empathetic once she was able to better control and keep her own emotions in check; she's very understanding to those she loves.
9. Helena was the only H kid who did not acquire an OFB badge, because she didn't tag along to Granger General Goods that one time. Mimi has hairdressing badges and Harry has a cashier badge; even Gabi and Almeric have badges, for sales and restocking, respectively.
10. Everyone had dyed hair in Generation H, and I downloaded specific hairs for each of them. Oddly, all of them were from Raon. Helena has two distinctive hairstyles, one when she gets all depressed and shit, and the wavy one afterwards/in between.
Fleur Isabelle Granger
1. Fleur was, and remains, the only natural blonde in the main line. That poor little recessive gene didn't stand a chance; it was obliterated by Audrey and Almeric in subsequent generations.
2. Even though Fleur is blonde and Patronum has black hair, both their daughters are brunettes. I would have preferred black hair, tbh, but I do not get what I want.
3. Fleur has a job in Music, and so she has built up a lot of friends simply by following people home from work.
4. In relation to 3, Fleur came home with Seb several times, leading to inappropriate wants here and there.
5. I had a plot for Fleur if she had been voted heir. I can't quite recall, but it was something like this: Fleur is forced to break up with Patronum and marry someone else, but she has an affair with Patronum and then there's some ~baby daddy drama~ but idek. It doesn't matter because Fred was elected, not Fleur.
6. Towards the end of the Uni years, I kind of slacked off on writing Fleur's random French accent phonetically. Dx
7. I used to search my Legacy characters' names to see if they actually popped up. When I searched "Fleur Granger" I got Fleur/Hermione HP femslash, which doesn't even make sense to me. After that I was careful with which characters I googled; "Harry Granger" was immediately out.
8. Fleur spent most of her childhood in her formal wear, and I was always upset when she had to wear her everyday clothes to school because it was that lame yellow denim dress.
9. Fleur's mostly nice, but she can be short-tempered sometimes; she snapped at Fred for being all emo about his ~lost love~* and shit in one chapter.
10. Fleur's daughters, Reparo and Reducto, unfortunately look just like their dad. I had hoped she would exercise more influence over the genes of her children, but I was oh-so wrong.
Andrew Quincy Bug
1. Andrew's middle name has no rhyme or reason. It just sounded embarrassing and flowed well with his first name.
2. I never planned for SimJune to have twins; I only expected one baby, Belladonna. When Andrew was born I had a minor panic attack because I didn't have any boy name planned for this child. It was always planned to be one baby girl. So there was a scramble for a name; the previous night a program about hurricanes or something had been on, so that was bearing in my mind. Andrew was named for the massively destructive Hurricane Andrew, because my theme was destructive/deadly things.
3. Despite being a Romance Sim, Andrew hasn't gotten any action in SV since he was a teen. My Romance Sims are terrible, tbh, I never had a really promiscuous Romancer. D:
4. Andrew is still in college; Belladonna dropped out to get married but Andrew is going to acquire his edumacation. I forget what his major is, though.
5. Andrew and Belladonna were born with considerable nice points, but I boolpropped them both to like one or two.
6. Andrew is the older of the twins.
7. Ages ago I attempted a Bachelor Challenge with Andrew, but it flopped for various reasons: I screwed up everything by creating the wrong number of bachelorettes, I had no idea what I was doing and made shit up, the Exchange died and discouraged me, and by the time I was over myself I forgot how far I had progressed and confused myself repeatedly. It was great fun but I fucked it up majorly and I doubt I can fix it. Sorry. :(
8. The reason Andrew was in those ridiculous clothes at Harry and Bella's fail!wedding was because I forgot to check and change his formal wear in Uni. I bullshitted the bit about him stealing it from the drama department, but others would call it characterization.
9. Did you know that YAs can't wear career clothes via Tom's Clothing Tester? I found out the hard way and Andrew was stuck in a ninja costume for a scene.
10. Neither Andrew or Belladonna look at all like SimJune, which is disappointing to say the least. But they do look very similar to each other.
