Hi, everyone!
With the help of my dear friend Heather, I came up for an idea for Sim Scenes this week! I've been having some Sim Scenes-block as of late, because I'm confident school is slowly eating my soul right out of my chest. I'm also working on Chapter 38, I promise, I've written a couple scenes. Not back to the main house yet, but meh. I have to write a script for my school's Christmas show by the end of the month so I'm probably going to take most of this weekend for that...
Also, ZOMG LJ was hacked! I was one of the people affected by them, which is scary since I've never been hacked before. See, this is why I make up IM addresses and never use the detect tool, because of people like this! They didn't do anything too awful, just messed up my last entry. I knew something was wrong because the userpic changed. When I logged on today it was set to my default, but I KNEW last I saw it it had been on (one of) my MCR userpics. I put the tags back but not the mood/song cause I don't remember them.
Anyway! No more rambling until after the pretty pictures. This week's prompts were Shopping - Rage - Charisma. Again, thanks to Heather for her help this week! *glompage*
Haha, funny shoot for once! Okay, so in the shoot a girl and her grandparents head to the mall to shop, the girl reluctantly. She explains to her grandparents they don't have any time to goof off. But the grandmother notices a clothing display and tries on a Hawaiian dress. The idea I had was she was reminding her husband of their tropical honeymoon or whatever. Ignore the fact I don't have BV. They did go on honeymoon if I remember correctly. Anyway, grandparent flirting ensues, and the girl sulks on a bench waiting for them to just cut it the hell out.
The Sims in this shoot are the oldest of Generation I, Imperius, and her grandparents, my G heiress Gabrielle and her husband Almeric. They stole the house of my Gen H spare Mimi. I turned a bunch of rooms, inlcluding Mimi's son Knox's room, into the mall in the shoot. I didn't want to go on a community lot because my poseboxes don't work. I know there's a way to make poseboxes usable on comm lots, but I was running a tight schedule and it was late and Mimi's got room to spare. Seriously, her family are three people: her, her husband Simon, and their kid Knox, and they live in the giant huge fairytale house in Bluewater. It's ridiculous, but fit Mimi so well and gads, do I spoil her. (And I didn't save, so Knoxie got his room back.)
I know it doesn't look much like a mall. I wanted to put in a fountain, but it was winter so all the fountains were frozen despite being indoors. *facepalm* Also, it wasn't a comm lot so I couldn't put clothing racks or anything. *continued facepalmage* Also, I think this could totally be canon if I put moar work in it. Imp would totally be all business about shopping, defying every cliche about girls (word!), and Gabi would go all romantic. Cause they actually had a honeymoon cause they had a party, I remember.
In other news! Today in chemistry class I was freaking out. Firstly because, okay, it's chem, and the only chem I've been familiar with before this is My Chem, so it's pretty much guaranteed I'll surpress the urge to write "my" along with every "chemical." But it was EVEN WORSE today. See, today was lab day, and we were learning about density and such. We got little, I don't know, marbles and stuff, to drop in beakers of water and see how their mass changes the amount of water or something. And since my friends are ridiculous they decided to name their marbles. And they were debating names for awhile. When all of the sudden out of the blue someone goes, "Ooh, Frank is a good name!!" And in my brain it was like, "Chemical Frank what?!" And then it got EVEN MORE WORSE! They decided against Frank and then someone was like, "Maybe Mikey!" And my brain said, "CHEMICAL MIKEY WHAT WHERE?!!!1fangirl!" I'm hopeless.
And then in English class we were learning literary terms, like "plot." And I was dying cause I knew it all because hell, man, it's my franking HOBBY. So my teacher went online to get some examples of symbolism in literature, and up came Harry Potter naturally. So I got all excited. Until my teacher named the author as...wait for it..."J. Rowling."
Okay, FIRST OF ALL, the author's name was right there on the page! But apparently my English teacher can't read. FAIL. So I was ready to jump him then. And then he mispronounced Slytherin as..."Sl-eye-the-rin." I was literally headdesking. LITERALLY. DUDE! HOW HAVE YOU NOT READ HARRY POTTER?! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR, LIKE, EVER?!
Gah. So yeah. Hope you guys all had a good day! And beware of the 1337.
One last thing: Lyngee, Isalaus, Froxy, Rulachi, Delam, and Roshua FTW!!! :D Hmm? Why no, no spoilers here....
