I made it a goal this week to post a journal entry, so here I am!

Firstly - I AM TOTALLY GOING TO SEE TAYLOR SWIFT ON SEPTEMBER 11TH!!!! Man. I'm so stoked. I can't wait!!

( Other noteworthy things- possible asthma, the wedding, school, the Twelve Steps vs. atheism, movies, and the answer to whether lobsters can feel pain (but not to 'how is that a question anyone had to ask'!) )

It's not looking good for guitar classes right now since lessons are supposed to start tomorrow night and the music academy still hasn't gotten back to me. I've emailed them and left a voicemail, so there's nothing I can do but wait... but there's not exactly a lot of time for them to get back to me and for me to get them my registration fee if it ( Read more... )

( Went for my first professional hair-cut in years yesterday! Pics here! )

Tomorrow I'm getting my first professional haircut in years. I'm nervous because I'm not exactly in the habit of showing my less-than-ideal hair to anyone. When it's really bad, I'll even wear a bandanna around the house. It'll be kind of scary for a bit, I'm sure, but I'm also looking forward to it. I last shaved my head over 3 months ago, and it had been growing in nicely for a while, and then trich resurfaced, more and more. Today it looked so awful all different lengths that I thought it would be best to even it out before work tomorrow. So, I took my hair clippers and evened it out.
