Geez, long time no post! Sorry about that.
An update on my last post - my cough is gone, but I think I'm getting ANOTHER cold... I've got that feeling in my throat, you know?
The parking ticket I disputed got revoked, so that's a relief... who has $100 sitting around to pay for no reason?
This saturday is my second midterm, and I think I'm ready. It has become increasingly obvious that I'm one of the most intelligent students in my class... or at the very least, the most interested in actually being there. The teacher asks questions to review and make sure people understand throughout the lecture, but I'm nearly the only one that answers. Even questions that don't require thought, nobody answers but me. It's like I'm having a one on one tutoring session, and there just happens to be nearly 30 partially-conscious people sitting around watching. Soon I'm going to have to check into some career counselling so I can figure out what's next. I'd like to take entry-level psychology if I can get into it this time, but if I find a career goal that goes in another direction, that's fine too.
I had another psychiatrist appointment last week. The Dexedrine didn't work out too well - I tried taking it daily, and it kept me up during the night, and then eventually stopped doing anything. Now I only take it occasionally if I know I'm going to have to concentrate for an extended period of time, so that seems to work okay. Meanwhile, I'm down to 1/2 my topiramate while still being pull-free, and now we're working on reducing my wellbutrin. We'll see how it goes.
It's springtime so I'm have fun with garden photography as the bulbs come up and things start getting buds.
Also, I'm loving the greater length of time that it's light out during the day, and the sun is great for my mood too.
Other than that, I'm still doing real estate assisting work, volunteering at the cat shelter, and enjoying playing piano, singing, and started doing some baking too... cupcakes, mostly.
