Inoo Kei

"I was a bit clumsy, so I used to get hurt a lot"

Kei 2 years old

I fell off when I was climbing a tree!
I don’t remember much since I was too little but this is a picture from Christmas. My mom told me I was a little strange kid when I was in kindergarten. She told me on a field day during running race, I was the only one walking when everyone else was running. I became more active in elementary school but I used to get hurt from falling off a tree or from my clumsiness. I once made a secret fort with my friend in the grass field and I used to play around sliding or climbing up a steep hill that was next to the fort. I went to many family vacations as well. Every summer we went to a sea and in winter it was skiing. It was fun.

I wasn’t able to eat the gyutan [cow tongue] that I wanted!
There’s a good gyutan place and I was thinking about going there after work but the place has closed down when I went there. I was so sad that I went from happy-go smiling to being speech less.

Takaki Yuya

“My good memories are playing fireworks with my family”

Yuya 2 years old

I was a bold mischievous child
That’s a photo of me when I was about 2. I was bold until my 5th year elementary school. When I was little, I was so mischievous that I used to point fireworks at the house and got in trouble because of burning the house. I had a basketball net on the side of my house so I used to play basketball with my older sister. Also, there was a mountain in the neighborhood and I used to go catch stag beetles and fight with snakes (laughs). It was a sad memory when my shiba inu, Chibi died but watching fireworks every year and going camping with my family is still a good memory.

Feeling refresh from going to a hot spring
A little while ago, I finally had a day off in a long time so I went to a hot spring with my friend. I was able to relax and it was really fun. Hot springs do heal your soul after all (laughs).

Yabu Kota

“I used to play moster with the neighborhood kids”

Kota 2 years old

Going crazy with friends from the company housing complex!
Isn’t this photo cute? I was told “cute” everywhere I went, I guess my popularity was used up from that (laughs). I used to live in a company housing complex when I was in kindergarten and I used to play soccer, robbers & police and explored parks with my friends. When I wanted to play in the house, I was lived on the 4th floor and I’d get in trouble if I made noise so I used to play wrestling and such with my friend on the 1st floor. I used to play monster with the kid across from my house. The bread that kid’s mom made was so good. I want to eat them again.

The fireworks were really fun
I played with fireworks with my friends. I had an “I’m in front of your house right now” phone call all the sudden and they’ve already bought the fireworks. I was able to light them up and other stuff so it was really fun. That was really good summer memory.

Yaotome Hikaru
December 2nd, 1990. Born in Miyagi. Blood type O.

“I was loved the most because I’m the youngest”

Hikaru 3 years old

I made igloos on snow days
I was mischievous when I was a kid. I was a kid who never got tired of getting warned at parks or in schools. I’m the youngest out of the 4 siblings so when I look back at those days when I was little there were many things I’ve done because they told me to. I’d get hit by a bat that was bigger than me (laughs). Also, my older sister or brother would make me tape them singing (laughs). My house was in Miyagi and so we would shovel off the snow on snow days. I clearly remember making igloo in the yard.

Making songs on laptop is fun
I’m really into making songs on the laptop right now and I’ve already made about 5 songs. The genre is rock or hip-hop.

[Hikaru’s was hard to read on some parts since one of the sides was cut off]

Arioka Daiki
April 15th, 1991. Born in Chiba. Blood type A.

“I was with ‘Ten-ten’ in Hawaii, too”

Daiki 2 years old

I started walking earlier than other kids
When I was little I named my favorite spotted sleeve “Ten-Ten” and I heard I used to have it with me all the time. I would start crying if I didn’t have it. The photo was taken in Hawaii during a family vacation and you can see I’m holding tightly on “Ten-Ten” (laughs). They even bother to bring it to Hawaii. Also, I started walking earlier than other kids. That’s why I would fall and I would cry every time I got hurt from bumping into stuff.

First time challenging [cold] water bath!
I go to saunas to refresh my body but I challenged myself into going to a water bath for the first time. But, I was surprised just dipping my toe in on how cold it was so I got out immediately (laughs).

Okamoto Keito

“My hair was down to my shoulders”

Keito 3 years old

I didn’t have any dislikes [in food] when I was little

When I was little, I didn’t have any foods that I disliked that I could eat anything. Now, I don’t like fish and raw eggs but I was fine then. I hate raw eggs because I had an allergy for them once but I don’t really know the reason why for the fish (laughs). The photo is when I went to Hawaii for the first time. I had short hair in this but I had it really long once and my hair was down to my shoulders. I was told “I thought you were a girl” a lot from strangers.

I played care freely at the riverbed
I went to a nearby riverbed and relaxed there. I sat on the hill and listened to music and spelled “Hey!Say!JUMP” with the rocks around the riverbank. At the end, I was staring at the river because the flowing water was beautiful.

Chinen Yuri
November 30th, 1993. Born in Shizuoka. Blood type AB.

“My family went out to places every summer”

Yuri 1 year old

I was very hyper
That’s a picture of me before I started going to kindergarten but I had full of energy since I was little and I was a hyper kid (laughs). I still haven’t changed much. My mom told me, I was a child who didn’t cry much except when I was hungry. I remember during kindergarten, I played with my sister’s friends on a big loopy slide. Also, we went out to family vacations every summer. Even my grandma came and we did stuff like swimming in the pool so it was fun!

It took me 3 days to eat an ice cream
This summer was really hot. So, I ate a big ice cream a while ago but it took me 3 days (laughs). What does it mean? It was really cold that I ate it little by little and I ended up taking 3 days to eat it (laughs).

Nakajima Yuto

“I liked catching fish and insects since I was little!”

Yuto 5 years old

Mischievous outdoor type!
This is a picture when we went to blueberry picking. I think the 6 of us went my family, grandma and grandpa. I’m so cute~ (laughs). I was mischievous when I was little! I was always getting in trouble (laughs)! I was like “boy-est of all the boys” and I liked playing outside. Instead of playing games in the house, I went fishing, catching insects, or camping a lot. I still go skiing with my family during winter!

My stress was worked off by a festival
I went to my hometown’s festival! I bought various foods from the stands and I did raffles but I didn’t win anything….. (laughs). I was tired because I went after work but the festival worked the tiredness off.

Morimoto Ryutaro
April 6th, 1995. Born in Kanagawa. Blood type A.

“I loved trains that I was happy when I rode one”

Ryutaro 3 years old

I was a train otaku in my childhood!
This picture is of me when I was 3 years old so I don’t remember much but when I grew a little older I was a child who loved trains. My mom’s hometown is Ishikawa and I loved watching the express trains go by so I went there a lot. I loved setting toy rails up in the house and making my trains run. Even my memories on family vacation would be enjoying riding on trains. When we went out, they made me wear matching outfits with my little brother, Shintaro but I don’t wear stuff like that now(laughs).

DVDs of comic acts are funny
Lately, I’ve been buying lots of comedy DVDs and watching them every day. I love old comic acts that I just have to laugh because the bokes are funny. I think it’s a good learning when I have to go on variety shows.

Yamada Ryosuke
May 9th, 1993. Born in Tokyo. Blood type B.

“I was recklessly driving on the tricycle”

Ryosuke 2 years old

I was a child who never got tired of scratches
I seemed to be just mischievous and always had scratches. The scar is still there, it’s from when I was around this age [referring to the picture] I was recklessly driving the tricycle and ran into a huge rock. I was injured pretty badly. There’s more stuff that happened to me but I don’t remember a thing (laughs). I loved playing outside as a child so I never got tired of having scratches. Also, my father wanted me to grow up as a strong man that he taught me “men don’t cry”, that’s why I didn’t cry much since I was a child.

My figure got more compact than losing weight
Lately, people around me have been asking me “Yama chan, have you lost any weight?” I don’t work out my body that much but I think my body got smaller naturally because of the stage and/or the practices. I just have a body that’s easy to put on muscles!
