Yaotome Hikaru & Yabu Kota
Yabu: I heard it’s me and Hikaru’s “Wai Wai Club” this month
Yaotome: We’ve finally taken over. If you think about it, we are also “Y (Yabu) Y (Yaotome)”. It’s the title itself (laughs). Since we became JUMP, we usually take photos with weird member matches and talks in any magazines. There was many times where Yabu and I would be together. It’s been a long time since we’ve done this kind of interview talks so, isn’t it good?
Yabu: But, we usually talk to each other anyway.
Yaotome: That’s all about our private talks (laughs). We don’t have many of us in 2 shots.
Yabu: Yeah. I felt Hikaru’s warmth after a long time.
Yaotome: Yeah! That’s because Yabu came hugging me from behind! ! (laughs)
Yabu: But, we used to take a lot of pictures like that back then.
Yatome: There was! With our arms on each other’s shoulder and our faces so close to each other that our cheeks will touch… kind of thing. Right?
Yabu: Yup yup!! It was always like that when it came to me and Hikaru’s 2 shots.
Yaotome: We were the cutest humans beings back then.
Yabu: …. Hm? Yeah, we were cute. We were always going against each other on who was the best (<--Tries to follow with Hikaru’s talk somehow)
Yaotome: What a good memory. I never would have thought Yabu would start styling his hair back then.
Yabu: Ahahahaha!
Yaotome: You even hated putting wax in your hate back then. Your hair in middle school used to be the same hair cut in duet photo shoots was a state of emergency.
Yabu: I used to try to fix my bed head with static electricity. Then, I used to hate the whole action of playing around with your hair in a mirror.
Yaotome: That Yabu, is fighting against himself while looking at a mirror now. He’d say things like “Do you like this hair style? I did my best”. Just thinking about “Yabu is putting all his effort into his hair style” is just so weird (laughs)
Yabu: What do you mean, don’t laugh.
Yaotome: That’s not all either. Comparing from then, Yabu’s underwear got more stylish. He used to wear briefs but now…
Yabu: I never wore any briefs! I graduated from that when I was in 2nd grade!!
Yaotome: (Ignoring) Not just Yabu, BEST usually wears stylish underwear. It’d be bright red or pink, I don’t know why but some even has useless pockets on them, too (laughs).
Yabu: We aren’t trying to be fashionable. Because the pants I buy are like the ones they sell at convenience stores. I’d buy them when I forget to bring underwear when I have works on a country side. Then, those starts add up. All the stylish ones are gifts from other people. That reminds me, I got underwear from Takaki for my birthday.
Yaotome: The one that’s too big, right?
Yabu: Yeah (laughs). But, I wear it a lot. It’s the one that’s a black fabric with lots of skull prints.
Yaotome: Wow. I’m looking forward to getting underwear from Takaki for my birthday.
Yabu: Wait… it’s not certain that he’ll give you underwear for your present (bitter laugh)
Yaotome: And, you don’t have anything? About “that’s different” part of my old self and myself now?
Yabu: Oh, there’s some. Hikaru who was a wild animal child from Sendai is working the laptop so easily now. You also download music for other members.
Yaotome: Yeah, I’m in charge of laptops in JUMP now.
Yabu: But, he types really slowly.
Yaotome: You’re right! (laughs) I type with my forefingers. But, I only use my laptop for my music so it doesn’t bother me.
Yabu: That’s like of Hikaru.
Yaotome: Yeah, I don’t play outside as much as I used to but I don’t want people to think I'm “thin” so I go to the gym. I still have my wild animal child soul. Even though I'm going there once a week or at all after SUMMARY has finished. I’m going to seriously start going there soon. I’m going to force myself to.
Yabu: Oh, your love for forcing, masochism attitude hasn’t changed at all (laughs)
