[how long!?!?]

I've been on the earth for 24 years today. That's an accomplishment, right? I'm pretty stoked about it.

I'm pretty sure I've already gotten two of the best presents I could ever possibly have gotten. It's amazing because I've only known Chris like a month and he totally nailed my taste with these two books. Highfive.

The first one is "Real Ultimate Power: The Official Ninja Book." We have an ongoing debate about the merits of being a ninja vs. being a pirate. He's a ninja lobbyist, I'm with the pirates. However, this book kept me up until 4am this morning, laughing my guts out. So perhaps I'm being swayed. Allow me to share some ninja insight with you:

In the section entitled "Who Would Win? Ninjas Vs. Anybody," they bring up our debate directly. "Pirates: These guys are the crap de la crap. They think that they're pretty sweet with the boats and lasers, but they really aren't, if you ask me. Number one, they can only use their magic on water. So basically, they are stupid and boring on land. And number two, they could only beat a ninja if the ninja had the flu, chicken pox, measles, mumps, and ADD all at once. And that would probably never happen." Pure genius.

The other book(!!!) is entitled "The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection From The Living Dead." It's written by Mel Brooks' son, and it's completely dry and hilarious. They give extremely useful advice, such as: "Keep your earplugs handy, and use them often. The constant, collective moan of the undead, a sound that will persist at all hours for as long as the siege continues, can be a deadly form of psychological warfare."

Thus... if there is ever a zombie attack, I think I could probably turn into a ninja and be OK. But I still like pirates. Arrrr.

Oh man... party tonight. I can't wait to see everyone! But for now I have to go to lunch with my mom/aunt/uncle/cousins/brother, etc. Good times. Good day! <3
