thorn in my side, ache in my heart
Bowie is gone again. I just looked up my journal from last year when he went missing and it listed all the other times from each prior year. This time isn't looking so good. 2 other times he was stuck under the house - first my neighbor's then mine. I have double checked both possible scenarios and both houses' vents have since been sealed up.
He has been gone for over a week now. But I haven't seen him since the morning I left for Hawaii which was almost 2 weeks ago.
Honestly I am so sad that I have cried buckets. It's driving me INSANE not knowing if he's ok or if he is lost or "stuck" somewhere. Or even worse.... :( I checked the animal shelter yesterday and he's not there. I am calling Animal Control tomorrow to hopefully hear that they have NOT pick him up. (being that they only pick up deceased animals)
I'm passing out flyers tomorrow. I'm sure my neighbors are completely desensitized to this shit by now. But at this point I just don't know what to do.
I can't stand this. My heart seriously aches. :(
