Happy December to everyone! Hope those of you in the U.S. had a nice Thanksgiving, and everyone else, that you had a good weekend.
I am back after visiting my parents in upstate New York for Thanksgiving. Sadly, my grandmother passed away on Thanksgiving Day, which of course colored the weekend for us all. She had just turned 93 the Tuesday before the holiday, but had not known any of us for some time, since she had Alzeimer's and had been in a nursing home for many years. Doesn't make it any less sad, though. We were happy to be there for my parents, and my uncle and his wife. I played two pieces at the funeral service yesterday, which was lovely. Grandma would have liked the music, I think.
Anyway, back home now and getting into the swing of things once again, along with the holiday season coming full upon us. Ron will be on vacation soon, and he is taking most of December off. That's what comes from working for the same company for as many years as he has ;-) We are both looking forward to him being off for such a chunk of time. He's inspiring me to get my house straightened out - let's see how long THAT lasts LOL!
Got this quiz from

Your dominant hues are blue and magenta. You're the one who goes to all the parties but doesn't quite fit in at every one... you know what you want, but are afraid of what the world might think of it. You're a little different and that's okay with them, and if you're smart it's okay with you too.
Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.
Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.
the spacefem.com html color quiz Making reservations for Cass, G and I for MR next June. The venue and date changed, but it still works for me, thankfully. Now we just have to get James there... Still waiting to hear whether he will be there or not.
That's about it for now - off to check on
cousinjean's latest installment of "The Butterfly Effect". If you are a Spuffy fan, you should be reading this! And Nan Dibble's "The Blood is the Life", too. Get thee to reading, I say!
